As part of a commitment to training and personnel development, SAS NW have four apprentices who have started their journeys in a career in scaffolding. Lewis and Michael are on their Scaffolding Foundation Course, with another two team members, John and Anthony, on their Part 1B course.

David Welsh, Director at SAS (NW) Ltd commented “Staff training and development is key to our operation and we continue to invest and provide opportunities in this area. Working in a safety critical industry, means ensuring that best practice is maintained is paramount.

“Our newer team members have to undergo training as a matter of course, but we also encourage our more experienced staff to partake in activities to maintain their continuous development.”
